I am Sruthi Venkatesh an architect who pursued my undergraduation in Bachelor of Architecture in the renowned institute of Thiagarajar College of Engineering, which was founded in 1949.During my undergraduation I received both the Best outgoing student award and Dr.Radha Thiagarajar memorial award, which is the highest award bestowed by the college for outgoing students. I am passionate about architecture and strive to create inventive and breathtaking designs. My designs blend uniquely well with the environment to give maximum comfort and style. I believe my designs should co-exist with the community and improve their experience when they use it. I focus on developing unique solutions in order to produce operational efficiency by giving importance to sustainability. My work has a global touch without losing the local feel. I have done my internship in a leading firm namely CRN Architects, Chennai. During my  internship I was exposed to huge scale projects for Oracle, Amazon, Zoho, Kone, IIT, MMP, Saint Gobain, Arogya Bhavan to name a few.          

My institution helped and encouraged me in research and scholarly activities to achieve national and international recognition. My design got top listed in the top 10 out of nearly 1000 teams for a Autodesk competition held for architecture and engineering students.

I also participated in “3D student design challenge: 2014”.  Nine colleges were short listed for the finals and I secured the first place. I attended the Autodesk Panorama which was a five day boot camp. Autodesk Panorama was one of the coolest international students boot camp held in Tongji University, China for 'aspiring young designers, engineers and architects of tomorrow'.
